Senior transaction manager Courtney Crowder, who joined Newmark Knight Frank’s Institutional Team in 2017, works alongside Shane Ozment, Terrance Hunt, Jeff Hawks, Doug Andrews and Amanda Meldrum. Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Ms. Crowder served as an assistant vice president at Redwood Capital Group, a multihousing sponsor firm based in Chicago, IL; her responsibilities included sourcing, underwriting, and analyzing all potential acquisition opportunities in various markets across the country, including Denver, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs. During her tenure at Redwood, Ms. Crowder was involved in nearly $1 billion of multihousing transactions. Before Redwood, Ms. Crowder worked as a senior financial analyst on the acquisitions team at LaSalle Investment Management where she was involved in the underwriting of more than $5 billion in assets and the closing of over $550 million in assets across all property types.
Ms. Crowder earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, with a focus on real estate and entrepreneurship. She also graduated with distinction from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and a real estate certificate.
